Museums

The collaboration between the Arazzeria Scassa and the various museums has always been carried out on several levels. In addition to curating exhibitions, the Arazzeria collaborates in the realization of exhibition events, carrying out careful consultancy and restoration work.

Over time, Arazzeria Scassa has restored a number of modern and ancient tapestries, including that of Bronzino dating back to 1549, now safeguarded inside the Palazzo del Quirinale. The restoration procedures can include a range of steps across several levels, from relining, cleaning and washing, through to the reconstruction of the weave itself, reintegrating any missing sections.
